Applying to be a vendor at one or more Marketplace? That’s great!
To ensure a positive experience for vendors and buyers, please be sure to read these guidelines. When you submit your application, you are indicating that you agree to these terms.
— Accepted vendors will be notified 1 week after the application deadline. The invoice will be attached to the notification, and payment is due 30 days before the event.
-Once the vendors for the event are confirmed, I will add your name and link to the website, and begin promoting.
–If there are still openings after the deadline, applications will be accepted until the event is filled
–If after one reminder the invoice is still unpaid, your space may be forfeited to a vendor on the wait list.
–PLEASE provide your primary email on the application. I send announcements, updates, questions, etc. via email. I want to keep everyone in the loop as we prepare for each event.
–REMEMBER, social networking is our friend! For each event I will create an ETSY event, and all vendors with etsy shops are encouraged to join. Be sure to “Like” the Marietta Marketplace Facebook page, share posts, follow tweets, etc. The wider our social network, the more people we attract to the events!
–Vendors are expected to be set up and ready by the event start time, and are NOT permitted to leave early or begin to tear down until the event is over. The only exceptions are emergencies or if your inventory is threatened by severe weather.
–Marietta Marketplace is all about hand crafted, vintage, upcycled and home made. Vendors are not permitted to sell mass produced items or re-sell items made by someone else.
–Marietta Marketplace and the City of Marietta will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury. Vendors are responsible for their own property, items, and transactions.
–Enough of the serious stuff, the main goal of Marietta Marketplace is to showcase our amazing vendors, provide a great shopping experience and enjoy a day in the great city of Marietta!
